Postgraduate Study Options: Applied Criminology Webinar

Register now to hear from our master program convener to find out more about your postgraduate study options in Applied Criminology at ANU.

The Master of Applied Criminology is an advanced qualification for those working in, or planning to enter, criminal justice related professions that seek to mitigate and prevent crime and illegal activity across Australia, New Zealand, the Asia-Pacific region, or internationally.

The program’s expert teaching staff are active researchers who can draw upon their wealth of local and international experience, as well as their connections with government and industry. Graduates will employ established and emerging conceptual and theoretical frameworks, empirical evidence, and applied skills to engage with critical and systematic analyses.

The solid grounding in research methods and focus on interdisciplinarity at the heart of the program prepares graduates for professional pathways across criminal justice, including, but not limited to; policing, corrections, legal roles, policy making, and research.
